With Amazon FBA you can make great profits by shopping at your favorite stores and cashing in on the bargains. Make money just by being a smart shopper.
Make Money by Bargain Shopping
How would you like to get paid to go shopping and looking for bargains? If you have an eye for a good deal, then you can make a small fortune by buying products at a steep discount, and then selling them at full price on Amazon.
Sounds too good to be true, right? Well, I have proof that this works. For example, Jessica Larrew lost her job in 2008, and for a while was stuck for a new way to make a living. Her partner, Cliff, was sick of his rotten job, so they put their heads together and looked for a business opportunity that they could start with almost no cash.
Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA)
They stumbled across the idea of starting an Amazon FBA business. That is selling products using Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA). The great advantage of using FBA is that you can not only leverage Amazon’s amazing power to sell huge numbers of products, but also use the Amazon fulfilment service to get products to customers. In other words, Amazon does most of the hard work – you just need to find the products to sell.
Does this idea work? Heck, yeah! In their first year running their new home-based business, Jessica and Cliff made profit of over $100,000. And they achieved that working less than 20 hours a week total. Since then, they have scaled the business up much further, and now make an excellent living, thanks to FBA.
Getting Paid to Go Shopping
If you want to know exactly how they did it, Jessica and Cliff spill the beans in their free video series. This is definitely worth checking out if you are interested in working from home. But the basic idea is very simple. They look for products they can buy at discounted prices, and then sell them on Amazon for a good profit. This concept is called retail arbitrage, and it has made many people multi-millionaires. There is no reason at all why you can’t achieve similar results.
So now you can see how you can turn your weekly shopping trips into a goldmine. Instead of being out of pocket when you shop at Wal-Mart, Target and other stores, you could be on your way to a very nice profit from your shopping activities.
Here’s how it works. While you are shopping at Wal-Mart, for example, you keep an eye out for special offers, discount deals and clearance sales. Then, using an Amazon seller app on your phone, you scan the bar codes and check to see how much these items are selling for on Amazon. If the prices on Amazon are significantly higher than in Wal-Mart, you know can sell these items at a profit. So you buy as much as your budget allows, creating inventory that becomes the foundation of your new business.
Of course, you buy your discount stock at other locations, too. Just go to liquidation stores, discount warehouses, shopping clubs and any other locations where you can find bargains on offer. When you are driving around town, keep an eye out for closing down sales and other special offers.
You may be wondering why you should choose the Amazon route to sell your products. After all, there are some costs associated with selling with Amazon, which have to be factored into the business equations. Why not just sell them directly from your own website, for example? Or why not use eBay?
Selling directly is certainly an option, but then you miss out on the many benefits that Amazon can offer. You can do very well on eBay, too, but even eBay can no longer rival the mighty Amazon. Quite simply, Amazon is the 800 pound gorilla in the world of online retailing. At the time of writing this article, Amazon’s annual revenue is over 107 billion dollars. By contrast, eBay’s annual revenue is less than 12 billion – that’s only about 11 per cent of Amazon’s volume.
This is by far the biggest advantage of selling on Amazon – they do the marketing for you. If you list a good product on Amazon at a fair price, it will sell. You don’t have to worry about advertising, marketing, SEO, social media or anything else. You just have to list your products and look after your customers.
So there are compelling reasons for choosing Amazon as your selling platform. However, not everyone uses the Fulfilment by Amazon program. It is entirely possible to take care of fulfilment yourself. So why would you want to delegate this important part of your business to Amazon?
Once again, the answer is simply that no-one else can compete with Amazon. When it comes to fulfilment, the company has built a world-class warehousing and distribution system. Amazon simply has more warehouses, more trucks and more staff. The company also has leading-edge fulfilment technology, and an unrivalled commitment to getting the right product to the right customer at the right time.
So buy outsourcing fulfilment to Amazon, you are letting the experts in the business manage this problem for you. All you have to do is source the products, and take care of your customers.
A Genuine Opportunity
The great thing about building an Amazon FBA business is that you are building a solid money-making machine where the demand is never ending. Customers are spending over two billion dollars a week on Amazon, and you have an opportunity to take home a slice of that enormous sum of money.
Better still, the opportunity is just going to get bigger. Jeff Bezos, Amazon CEO, has set his target on making Amazon into a company that is even bigger than Wal-Mart. With Wal-Mart’s annual revenues currently at around $450 billion, that means Bezos expects Amazon to quadruple its turnover in the next few years. So if you get started right now, there is every opportunity for your business to grow rapidly as Amazon develops its business.
All this is yours for the taking. And you don’t even need to spend much to get started. If you can scrape together a modest sum to buy some initial stock, you are on your way to building a solid business. Just keep re-investing your profits for your first few months, so that your business can grow faster. Then you should be in a position to quit your rotten job, and make a full-time living with Amazon.
