Make a Killing on Kindle
If you like the idea of being a publisher and making great passive income every month, then Kindle publishing is for you. You can get earn great money every month, simply by publishing simple ebooks on Amazon’s amazing digital publishing platform. It’s easy to do, and once your books are published, the money keeps rolling in every month.
In short, it’s awesome!
What is Kindle Publishing?
Back in 2007, Amazon turned the whole publishing industry upside down when it launched the Kindle – a device designed especially for reading ebooks. Kindle owners could now shop for ebooks on the Amazon website, just as they could for regular printed books. They could also search directly from their Kindle device, buy then download new books to read.
At that time, the market for ebooks was relatively small, but the Kindle changed that overnight. The number of ebooks sold through Amazon soared, and a whole new industry was born. That industry has been growing at an amazing rate, and now ebook sales account for a very high percentage of all books sold.
Better still, Amazon made it easy for ordinary people like you and me to publish books on Amazon. They created Kindle Digital Publishing (KDP), and that proved to be a real game changer. For the first time ever, writers and small publishers could easy publish their books, reaching a market of millions of ebook-hungry Amazon buyers.
Kindle publishing has already created many writer/publisher millionaires, and many more people are earning a great six-figure income by publishing simple ebooks on Kindle. And one of them is me!
I discovered the power of Kindle publishing a few years ago. I watched a webinar about this system that got me intrigued. I could see that ordinary people like me were writing and publishing ebooks, publishing them on Amazon…and making serious money!
I will admit that I was a little skeptical at first. After all, publishing is a dream business that lots of people would like to do, but few people get the chance to actually do it. Well, all that has changed…and how!
I launched my first book on Amazon soon afterwards. I wrote the book myself using Microsoft Word, and submitted it to Amazon for publishing. This was very easy to do, and my book was live on the world’s biggest bookstore website within 24 hours.
To be honest, I didn’t expect much to happen. But within hours, I had made my first sale. By the end of the week, I had sold enough to make myself over $100 in royalties. Not a fortune, I know…but it was enough to show me that he model worked. So then I started scaling things up. First of all, I wrote some more non-fiction books myself. I worked long hours to get as many books written as possible. The books were quite short though, mostly just a few thousand words long.
The math turned out to be pretty simple. The more books I published, the more money I made. I didn’t do any marketing, apart from using the free promotions built into the Amazon Kindle system. Within three months, I was making over $1000 a week.
From Writer to Publisher
At this point, I decided that I had a real business happening here, but my growth rate was being limited by my ability to write the books myself. After all, there are only so many hours in a day, and there is a limit to how much one person can write.
So to scale my business up, I started hiring other writers. I used iWriter.com to find writers, and also hired Filipino writers from OnlineJobs.ph. Typically, it cost me about $200 to outsource the writing of a non-fiction book. But here’s the thing. I discovered that if I ran a five-day promotion when I launched the book (a free benefit of using the Kindle platform), I could nearly always get my $200 back (and more) within a week. So in just a few days, I had recovered my costs – and every sale after that was pure profit!
Before long, I had built up a team of writers who worked for my full-time, writing books on everything from health and beauty to sport and recipes. I hired a full-time designer from the Philippines to design all the covers and other artwork I needed. Then I promoted one of the writers to the position of Editor. All of this was paid for out of my profits, and I still had plenty of money left over to enjoy a great quality life.
By this point, I had outsourced my entire business. The only task I left for myself was to come up with the ideas and titles for new books. Then I would pass this over to my editor, and she would take care of the rest. She would:
Meanwhile, all I had to do was check the daily sales report and see how much money I was making! The rest of the time, I pretty much did whatever the heck I wanted.
A Great Home Business
I have tried many different online businesses over the years, but Kindle publishing is one of the best business models I have ever come across. It offers real, tangible benefits that put it head and shoulders above most others ways to make a living online. Here are just some of the reasons why I love Kindle publishing:
You Can Publish for Free
It costs you nothing to publish on the Amazon platform. When you make a sale, Amazon will take a share of the revenue as its commission, but it’s an absolute bargain for you.
You Don’t Need a Website
Because you are selling directly on the Amazon platform, you don’t need a website to sell your books. Each book gets its own product page on Amazon, and you can also set up your own author profile.
The Amazon Selling Machine Works
Nobody knows how to sell products online like Amazon. So when you publish on KDP, you are benefiting from the world’s greatest selling machine. You don’t need to spend money on advertising or promotion. Amazon does all the heavy lifting and makes the sales for you.
Because you are selling digital products, there is no inventory to store, and nothing to shop. If you have ever run a business selling physical products, you will understand what a huge benefit this is. Similarly, you don’t need a merchant account because Amazon takes care of processing all the sales.
Amazon has various programs that allow people to get ebooks without making a purchase. But the good news is that you still get paid. Whether they sign up for Kindle Unlimited (similar to music streaming services like Spotify) or get free books as part of their Amazon Prime membership, you still make money. This extra cash can add thousands of dollars to your monthly income.
Paid Like Clockwork
As one of the world’s biggest payers, you can totally rely on Amazon to pay your royalties on time every month. You can have your earnings paid directly into your bank account, and Amazon will never miss a payment.
A Passive Income Stream
One of the greatest benefits of all is that Kindle publishing really is a business that creates totally passive income. Once you have published your books, they keep on selling – month after month, year after year.
I have many books that I have not paid any attention to since publishing them back in 2012. Yet those books are still earning me passive income, paid directly into my bank account every month. It seems likely that I will still be earning good money from those books five, ten – maybe even 20 – years from now.
Get Your Share
Publishing on the Kindle platform is not difficult, but you will get results much faster if you know what you are doing. I made a lot of mistakes in the first few months of my business, simply because I didn’t know what I was doing.
The good thing for you is that you don’t have to make the same mistakes. Stefan Pylarinos has created an amazing coaching program that tells you everything you need to know to get started with Kindle publishing. He has created a step-by-step system for earning a six-figure passive income with Kindle publishing on autopilot. If this program had been available when I started, I would have made thousands of dollars more in my first few months.
I have signed up for this coaching program myself, and even as an experienced publisher, I learned a lot from the training. I have also found the contacts in the network to be invaluable. If you are serious about running your own publishing business from home, I seriously recommend this program as the best place to get started. Join now, and I promise you won’t regret it:
